My love for learning has been a driving force during my journey as a computer scientist. This has led me to gain proficiency in several technologies and languages, as shown below.
I developed a deforestation detection platform that processes real-time satellite data from Google Earth Engine. Using a K-Means clustering algorithm, the platform accurately identifies deforestation patterns. Built with Flask and Python and deployed with Docker, the app allows users to define specific areas and timeframes for monitoring. By leveraging Spark for fast processing and MongoDB for efficient data storage, the platform ensures scalability and effectiveness in sustainability efforts.
MediConnect is a medical record management platform designed to streamline communication between healthcare professionals and patients. Built using HTML, CSS, Python, and Flask, it has a secure PostgreSQL database hosted on Google Cloud Platform, ensuring efficiency and stability. With integrated chat and scheduling features, MediConnect enhances the patient-provider interaction, making healthcare coordination simpler and more effective.
Borough Book is an award-winning web app that earned "Best NYC Hack" at HackNYU's 2023 Hackathon. Developed using JavaScript and React, it invites locals to create markers that share insights into historical landmarks and neighborhood gems, fostering a living historical document of the city. By engaging newcomers in the city's existing culture, Borough Book combats gentrification and promotes cultural preservation. The app utilizes MongoDB to store images and data efficiently, while Firebase ensures secure access, ensuring only authorized users contribute.
"Dibby" is an award-winning chatbot, claiming first place at NYU's Hack Dibner Competition. Powered by TensorFlow and Keras, Dibby categorizes user inputs, functioning as a personalized printer assistant for students and staff at NYU's Dibner Library. Expertly tackling general printing queries and assisting students in troubleshooting specific issues, Dibby is a cutting-edge solution for seamless and efficient printing experiences.
