Deforestation Detector

I developed a deforestation detection platform that processes real-time satellite data from Google Earth Engine. Using a K-Means clustering algorithm, the platform accurately identifies deforestation patterns. Built with Flask and Python and deployed with Docker, the app allows users to define specific areas and timeframes for monitoring. By leveraging Spark for fast processing and MongoDB for efficient data storage, the platform ensures scalability and effectiveness in sustainability efforts.

NYU Motorsports

Media Lead and Software Engineer

NYU Motorsports is a student organization focused on designing and building both off-road vehicles and electric vehicles. As a software engineer, I led the design and programming of a car dashboard for competition, providing real-time performance visualization. Additionally, I managed the team's telemetry system, utilizing platforms like Heroku, Digital Ocean, Docker, and Grafana to enhance data analysis capabilities. In my role as the lead of the Media subteam, I organized a team of over 10 individuals, overseeing social media management and conducting sponsor outreach efforts.
